Specialized Epilepsy Centers are revolutionizing medical care for epilepsy and seizure disorders. The epilepsy monitoring unit (EMU), their state-of-the-art tests, and the comprehensive team offer a factual diagnosis to treat seizures. 

ANYONE can go to a specialized Epilepsy Center for an evaluation to ensure they are receiving the most advanced care available to treat seizures.  

Prevent SUDEP/Sudden Unexpected Death in EPilepsy. 

Approximately one-third of people with epilepsy seizures are NOT well-controlled with medicine alone. If seizures continue despite medical care for more than one year or after the trial of two medications, seek advanced diagnosis at an Epilepsy Center.
